I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation

Psalm 40

I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry.  He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.  He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.  many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.  Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!  You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you!  I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.....I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.

When reading Psalm 40 recently I was reminded of the need to share out loud about the faithfulness of God and His wondrous deeds.  Because of this, I decided to start blogging again...not so any one will read...but rather as a family journal of God's faithfulness to us and if someone is blessed by reading then it will be a double blessing.  God has done amazing things for us..in big ways (more blog posts to come) and in little ways each day and I want to remember them and for my children to remember them.  I want these posts to be a "rock garden" for my children, who like the Israelite children would see big boulders and ask their parents what they meant..and they were to remind the parents to tell the stories of God's faithfulness to the next generation (Joshua 4)
